Dr. Dan Eichenberger
Dr. Dan Eichenberger, affectionately and more functionally called “Dr. Dan” by his staff and patients is a lifelong native of Floyd County. He graduated from New Albany High School in 1981. During high school and while completing his BA in Chemistry at Indiana University Southeast, he worked as a hospital orderly and then as an emergency department technician. Following completion of his medical degree from University of Louisville, Dr. Dan chose to specialize in both adult Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and completed his combined residency through the University of Louisville affiliated hospitals. Dr. Eldridge and Eichenberger, who attended medical school together, graduating in 1990, established the Physician Associates of Floyds Knobs, L.L.C that has grown to 5 doctors and 1 nurse practitioner and a staff of more than 30 employees.

Dr. Dan and his wife Stephanie have lived in Floyd County since 1983 and reside in Floyds Knobs, IN. They have four children: Daniel Jr., Jake, Sally and Stuart. They are Christian, and embrace the authority of God’s Word, the Bible. They are active members of Northside Christian Church. The family enjoys water sports, tennis fishing, hunting and boating.

Dr. Eldridge
Dr. Eldridge is a native of Kentuckiana area. He received a Bachelor Degree from the University of Kentucky, Masters in Biochemistry from University of Louisville, and completed his medical training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Eldridge is a board Certified Pediatrician trained at Kosair Children’s Hospital through the Department of Pediatrics, and offers comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents.

Dr. Eldridge and his wife Janet have lived in southern Indiana for the past ten years and presently reside in the Floyds Knobs area. The Eldridges have two children, Ryan and Whitney, and presently attend Northside Christian Church. Their interests outside of medicine include boating, swimming and gardening.

Dr. Christina Minrath M.D.
Dr. Minrath was born and raised in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. She received a Bachelor Degree in Biology and Chemistry, from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and completed her medical training at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Minrath completed her residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in August of 2004. Dr. Minrath had the opportunity and responsibility of practicing as Chief Resident at the University of Louisville.

She and her husband Brian live in the Louisville area along with their two children, Samantha 4, and William 1 year.

Dr. Minrath will offer comprehensive care for mainly adults, but is eager to care for infants and adolescent as well.

Dr. Karem
Dr. Karem is a native of Louisville, KY. He received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Louisville, and then continued on at the University of Louisville School of Medicine for his medical training. Dr. Karem received his Family Physician training at the Trover Clinic in Madisonville, KY. He also completed an additional year of Adult Critical Care Medicine at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Karem is a Board Certified Family Practice physician.

Dr. Karem and his wife, Susan resides in New Albany, IN. Susan is a Registered Dental Hygienist and they have two children, Jacob and Mariee. They enjoy hunting, camping, water skiing and snow skiing.

Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson is a native of Indianapolis but has called New Albany home for the past 20 years. He received his BA degree from Franklin College followed by Indiana University School of Medicine where he received he medical degree. He decided to specialize in family medicine and finished his family practice residency at Community Hospital in Indianapolis. He is board certified in family practice and has been in practice in the New Albany area for 20 years.

Dr. Johnson and his wife Theresa, live in the New Albany with their son Joe. Their oldest son, Zachary, has recently married and resides in the area. Their daughter Michelle graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, where son Aaron now attends. They are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and enjoy reading, camping, sports and the outdoors.
